In harmony with the earth – Heat drawn from the ground. Power from the sun. Food grown year-round through regenerative agriculture, and water and waste flowing in closed loops — every system designed to give back more than it takes.
Where everyone belongs – Ultra-low-energy homes, daily life within a 15-minute stroll, and care for children, seniors, and people with disabilities woven into the fabric of the community — because a better world begins with how we support one another.
A light for the way forward – Governed by its residents, built in right relationship with the Algonquin Anishinabeg peoples, and shared open-source as a living lab — so every lesson learned here helps other communities chart their own path.

For the past year, experts from around the world — engineers, educators, farmers, financiers, builders, architects, and practitioners of care — have been crafting the village concept across every dimension of community life: built form, energy, food, water, governance, wellbeing, learning, storytelling, and Indigenous relationships. The result: a community organized around a living centre, powered by the earth and the sun, where relationship comes before transaction..

The village is designed as much for the country as for its residents — a public destination where citizens, students, policymakers, and visitors from around the world can come to see, experience, and be changed by what a regenerative way of life actually looks and feels like. What is learned here flows outward through Common Earth’s global network; what is discovered across the network flows back in.
